- a) Techta Services LLP (together with its subsidiaries, referred to as the "Company,"
"TECHTA," "us," "we," or "our") values and respects your right to confidentiality as
outlined in the Terms and is committed to safeguarding your privacy.

outline how your information, as defined and described herein, will be handled.
- c) This Privacy Policy applies to Users, employees, and consultants and governs the use
of the Company's Services on its Website, Platform, and Offline Centres, as defined
in the Techta Terms and Conditions available at https://www.techta.org (the
"Terms"), including any new features or tools that may be introduced to the current
Website and Platform.
- d) In accordance with this Privacy Policy, the applicable Terms, and relevant laws, the
Company may collect, receive, store, process, manage, and/or share Personal
Information (including Sensitive Personal Data and Non-Personal Information, as
defined herein) related to the online or offline use of its Services by Users. This
Privacy Policy explains how such information may be utilized to enhance the User
experience while accessing the Services.
- e) Before providing any information required to use the Services, you must be in a
position to give informed consent. By purchasing our Services, accessing our Website
and Platform, or attending Courses at our Offline Centres, you agree to the
collection, receipt, storage, management, sharing, and use of your information in
accordance with this Privacy Policy.
- f) You are advised to carefully read and understand this Privacy Policy, along with any
other applicable Terms, before providing any information. Access to the Services is
conditional upon your consent to this Privacy Policy.
If you are a Minor User, please discontinue using the Services immediately until your
parent or legal guardian reviews, approves, and consents to the use of the Services
in accordance with this Privacy Policy and the applicable Terms.
2. Definitions
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise specified, the following terms shall
have the meanings set forth below:
- a) "Account" refers to the online account created by the User on the Platform for
accessing and utilizing the Services.
- b) "Course" includes programs offered by Techta, either remotely through the
Platform, via pre-recorded multimedia and audio-visual content, live-streamed
classes on third-party applications, or physically conducted at the Company's Offline
Centres.
- c) "Course Material" means the resources and information provided by Techta as part
of the Services to accompany a Course, including assessment tests and examinations,
available on the Platform.
- d) "Force Majeure Event" refers to any event beyond the reasonable control of the
Company, including but not limited to sabotage, fire, flood, explosion, acts of God,
civil disturbances, pandemics, strikes, riots, war, governmental actions, computer
hacking, unauthorized access to devices, security breaches, encryption failures,
power outages, or the actions of third-party service providers engaged by the
Company under this Privacy Policy.
- e) "Information" collectively refers to Personal Information and Non-Personal
Information as defined below.
- f) "Non-Personal Information" includes:
- i. The type of device used by the User.
- ii. The referring website to the Platform and the exit page.
- iii. Unique identifiers used to collect and store data about apps or devices, such as
preferred language, time zone, screen size, browser, and other settings.
- g) "Offline Centre" means any physical location operated by the Company to deliver in
person classes.
- h) "Personal Information" refers to any information related to the User that can
identify them directly or indirectly, either on its own or in combination with other
available information. This includes Sensitive Personal Data and may consist of the
User's name, mobile number, IP address, geographic location, and any audio, visual,
or audio-visual files provided by the User to the Company in connection with the use
of the Services.
- i) "Platform" refers to the Company's Website and any additional tools or features
provided and operated by Techta, including applications launched by the Company.
- j) "Services" encompasses the delivery of Courses and Course Material, as well as
other agreed-upon services purchased by the User and accessed either remotely
through the Platform, via pre-recorded or live-streamed content, or physically at
Offline Centres.
- k) "Sensitive Personal Data" refers to specific categories of Personal Information, such
as passwords, financial information (e.g., bank account or credit card details),
physical or mental health conditions, sexual orientation, medical records, biometric
data, and similar sensitive details.
- l) "Third Party" refers to any individual or entity other than the User and the
Company.
- m) "User" (or "you," "your," or "yourself") means any natural person aged 18 years or
older who is legally competent to enter into a contract under the Indian Contract
Act, 1872, and who accesses the Website or purchases the Services. Where
applicable, this term also includes parents, legal guardians, or authorized individuals
facilitating the use of Services for Minor Users.
3. Information Collection
a. When Do We Collect Information and What Types of Information Do We Collect?
- i. The Company collects Information (including Personal Information) when you
purchase, download, register, access, or use any of the Services provided by us.
This includes when you visit our Website, attend our Offline Centres, or access
the Platform, and voluntarily fill out contact forms, engage in in-person, chat, or
phone sessions, or purchase a Course. In these instances, you typically provide:
- A. Your name, gender, date of birth, guardian's name (if applicable), email
address, phone number, and mailing address.
- B. Information about your business, such as company name, company size, and
business type.
- C. Your Techta account details, which may include billing information and
account password.
- D. Any other information you provide at our Offline Centres or enter/upload
into our system while using the Platform.
The information mentioned above is necessary for the Company to operate the
Platform, deliver Courses at our Offline Centres, and provide the Services to
Users. Without this data, we may not be able to provide you with the requested
Services, potentially preventing you from using the Platform or accessing certain
Services (or parts of them). - ii. In addition, the Platform may collect certain information automatically, including,
but not limited to:
- A. The type of handheld device used.
- B. The unique device ID of the handheld device.
- C. The IP address of the device.
- D. The operating system of the handheld device.
- E. The type of internet browser you use.
- iii. We may also collect usage data about your interaction with our Services, such as:
- A. The number of tests or Courses attempted on the Platform and/or at our
Offline Centres.
- B. The number of videos you've viewed.
- C. The Courses you have participated in.
- D. The time spent completing a Course on the Platform and/or at our Offline
Centres.
This helps us improve the educational experience and tailor it to your needs.
b. What Information Is Collected Through Third Parties?
- i. We also obtain data from third-party sources, and we protect that data according
to the practices outlined in this Privacy Policy, along with any additional
restrictions imposed by the data source. These third-party sources can vary over
time, and may include:
- A. Data brokers, from whom we purchase demographic data to supplement
what we collect.
- B. Social networks, when you grant us permission to share your data publicly
or access it from these networks.
- C. Enterprise customers, when you are an employee using our Services.
- D. Existing or past Users.

the browser or device you use when you visit or access the Platform, read our
emails, use our Services, or engage with us in other ways. This data is typically
collected through tracking technologies like cookies, web beacons, flash objects,
log files, and other similar technologies (collectively, "Tracking Technologies").
These technologies gather information about how you interact with the Services
(such as the pages you view, links you click, and other actions you take). We may
use analytics data or third-party analytics tools to help measure traffic, usage
trends, and better understand the demographics of our Users. Additionally, we
may partner with third-party providers to enhance our Services and improve the
User experience. Any third-party services used by the Company will be governed

Company and may be stored on the Company's servers or on cloud-based
platforms operated by third parties. This will be done in compliance with
applicable laws and their respective privacy policies.
4. Purposes of Collecting, Storing, and Using Your Information, and the Manner of Such Usage
The Company collects, stores, and processes Information, including Personal Information, for the following purposes:
- a) To use the Information for providing, developing, enhancing, and improving the
Services. This includes conducting relevant research, creating internal guidelines for
content creation, analyzing geographic influences on the Services, offering targeted
advertisements, and producing publicity materials for sharing with third parties.
- b) The Information collected is used for internal operational purposes such as
responding to customer service inquiries, managing your account, enforcing content
license restrictions, determining language preferences, and continuously improving
the Services provided.
- c) To offer Users personalized content based on their search history, keywords used in
navigating the Platform, and overall usage patterns on the Platform.
- d) To facilitate your transactions with other Users when you engage with our Service(s)
and perform statistical analyses of User behavior and characteristics on an aggregate
level, in order to measure interest in and usage of various areas of the Platform.
- e) To share Information collected on the Platform and/or at our Offline Centres with
third parties, including those working with the Company for:
- i. Operating (including analyzing data), improving, and enhancing features and
experiences on the Services, such as providing government-approved certificates
and financial assistance to Users.
- ii. Conducting relevant research and analytics related to the Services or services
provided by these third parties. This may include providing access to Information
stored on the Company's server in India or transferring the Information to third
party servers, also in India.
Moreover, you may, at any time, provide written notice to the Company to
revoke your consent for sharing your Information with third parties working with
the Company. Upon receipt of such notice, we may not be able to continue
providing the Services (or any part of them). Please note that the Company is not
responsible for any actions taken by third parties who receive your Information. - f) We may contact you through tele-calls, email, SMS, or other communication
methods for various purposes, including:
- Informing you of new services or product offerings.
- Providing targeted advertisements for our Services.
- Collecting feedback on the Platform and the Services.
- Sharing information about promotions or features related to the Platform and our Services.
You may receive such communications if you have registered as a User on the
Platform or at our Offline Centres. By agreeing to this Privacy Policy, you explicitly
permit us to contact you for these purposes. Even if you have registered under Do
Not Disturb (DND), Do Not Contact (DNC), or National Customer Preference Register
(NCPR) services, you authorize us to contact you for the above-mentioned purposes. - g) If the Company undergoes a merger, acquisition, due diligence, reorganization,
bankruptcy, liquidation, receivership, sale of assets, or transition of Services to
another provider, your Information may be transferred as part of such transactions,
in accordance with applicable laws and contracts. The use of your Information after
such events will be governed by the policies in effect when the Information was
initially collected.
5. How We Store and Process Your Information
- a) Your Information will primarily be stored electronically. However, certain data may
also be stored in physical form, as necessary.
- b) We may enter into agreements with third parties (both within and outside India) for
the storage or processing of your Information, in accordance with applicable laws.
These third parties may have their own security standards for protecting the
Information, and we will, on a commercially reasonable basis, require them to
implement adequate security measures to protect your Information, as mandated by
the relevant laws. By agreeing to this Privacy Policy, you consent to the sharing of
your Information with these third parties for storage and processing purposes.
- c) Currently, we retain User Information as long as the Account is active, and for such
time as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which the Information may be
lawfully used, or as required under applicable laws. This practice may be adjusted
based on legal or business needs. For instance, we retain User information for 180
(One Hundred and Eighty) days after the cancellation or termination of a User's
account to comply with applicable laws.
6. Who We Share and Disclose Your Information To
- a) By accepting this Privacy Policy, you agree that the Company may share, transfer, or
disclose your Information, both within and outside of India, to (i) our group entities,
third-party service providers (without disclosing your personal identity), the general
public, and the National Skills Development Corporation for the purposes mentioned
in Clause 5, (ii) government agencies when required, or (iii) other third parties as
required by law. If we share Personal Information, we will make sure that those
receiving the data follow the same data protection standards as the Company, as
required by law.
- b) You agree that when we transfer your Information to any entity, whether inside or
outside your country of residence, we will ensure that they follow the principles of
this Privacy Policy through contractual obligations, as far as the law allows.
- c) You agree that the Company may also share or transfer your Information (other than
Sensitive Personal Data) to third parties who support our business, such as those
providing technical services, analyzing the use of our Services, measuring ad
performance, offering customer support, facilitating payments, or conducting
research. We will ensure these third parties keep your information confidential and
secure, in line with this Privacy Policy.
- d) The Company may also share your Information with third parties like banks, payment
service providers, digital lending platforms, or financial intermediaries to assist in
providing financial services or facilitating payments. The company will make
reasonable efforts to make sure that these entities adhere to confidentiality and

- i. Despite the measures we take, to the extent permitted by law, the Company is
not liable for any loss, damage, or misuse of your Personal Information caused
by a force majeure event.
- ii. While we will take all reasonable steps to protect your Personal Information and
prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, you acknowledge that no method of
transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore,
we cannot guarantee absolute security for your Personal Information.
8. Your Rights
You can exercise any of the rights described in this section by sending an email to
support@techta.org. Please note that we may ask you to verify your identity before we take
further action on your request.
a. Rectification of Inaccurate or Incomplete Information
If you believe that any of your Personal Information is inaccurate or incomplete, you
can contact us at the email address provided above to request an update, correction,
or amendment. We will make reasonable efforts to address your request, to the
extent feasible for the Company.
While you have the right to request corrections to any inaccurate or incomplete
Personal Information, please note that you are responsible for keeping your
information up-to-date, to the extent that you can update it within your Account.
b. Data Retention and Erasure
If you no longer wish for the Company to use your Personal Information to provide
Services (or any part thereof) to you, or if you wish to close your Account, you can
request the erasure of your Personal Information and the closure of your Account.
However, please note that any erasure requests will be processed in accordance
with applicable laws, and this may affect our ability to provide Services to you.
Please be aware that: i. We may retain some of your Personal Information as needed
for legitimate business purposes, such as fraud prevention and safety. For example,
if your Account is suspended due to fraud or safety concerns, we may retain certain
information to prevent the creation of new Accounts by the same individual. ii. We
retain User information for up to 180 (One Hundred and Eighty) days after the
cancellation or termination of User accounts to comply with applicable laws. iii. We
are not required to delete information that has been anonymized, de-identified, or
disassociated from personal identifiers so that it can no longer be used to reasonably
identify a specific individual. iv. If you request the erasure of your Personal
Information, we will no longer be able to provide the Services (or any part thereof),
and you will need to stop using the Services.
c. Consent; Withdrawing Consent and Restriction of Processing
If you do not consent to the processing of your Personal Information for the
provision of the Services (or any part thereof), we may restrict or deny access to
these Services.
If you have previously given consent for the processing of your Personal Information,
you can withdraw it at any time by sending a detailed request to
support@techta.org. Please note that the withdrawal of your consent will not affect
the lawfulness of any processing that occurred prior to the withdrawal.
If you withdraw your consent and request a restriction of the processing of your
Personal Information, the Company may no longer be able to provide you with the
Services (or any part thereof), and you may be required to stop using the Services.
Please note that if you withdraw your consent, we are not obligated to delete any
data that has been anonymized, de-identified, or otherwise disassociated from
personal identifiers such that it can no longer be used to identify a particular
individual.

The Platform, as well as any communication sent to you, may include third-party
advertisements, content, applications, and links to other websites or mobile applications
that may be of interest to you. However, once you click on these links or otherwise leave
the Platform, please be aware that we do not have control over the websites or mobile
applications that you access. You acknowledge and agree that these external websites and
apps are operated by third parties and are not under our control, unless explicitly stated
otherwise.
We are not responsible for any form of transmission or communication you receive from
these third-party websites or apps. As such, we do not make any representations regarding
